Sunshine Manor in Shelby County, and our soon to be open Alabama Living Center Daycare Services in North Jefferson County, are welcome answers to our clients and caregivers who require a safe, supportive, home-like atmosphere where clients can receive care without actually becoming residents of a facility. The programs are ideal for those caregivers who work during the day but want to continue to care for their loved ones in the evenings and nights. The trained staff in our day care programs develop an individual plan of care that provides our clients the opportunity for rehabilitation services, personal care, nursing involvement, and a positive, stimulating atmosphere.

Our mission for our day care services is to provide cost-effective alternatives for clients who need the stimulation of other adults with similar needs but who do not want to move into a residential facility. We focus on individualized care, keeping clients active and safe, and maintaining a warm, loving environment. We are also focused on slowing mental, physical and social deterioration in order to maximize an adult’s full potential.

·  Hours of operation are from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday-Friday.

·  We accept only adults eighteen years of age and older.

·  Our fees are competitive daily rates tailored to individual clients.

·  Assistance for veterans is available for daycare.
