The mission of Mature Options is to develop a
senior service delivery niche that falls between "Mom and Pop"
operations and the large regional or national companies that deliver
senior care services. We believe strongly that there will be a
continuing interest by the elderly and their families in highly
personalized, home-like programs and services for seniors, and that the
need for such services has not yet peaked.
We are intent on combining the compassion and personal
care aspects of smaller facilities with the expertise of seasoned
healthcare professionals typically not available to these facilities, to
produce the best of both worlds. We also are interested in helping other
organizational and individual providers improve their facilities and
services so that seniors in general benefit. While we don't deny that we
are in "the business of senior care services", we never forget that
caring for the elderly and their families is a very personal experience
for all of us.
Mature Options was founded by Rea A. Oliver, MBA, MHA, its President,
and Richard T. Oliver, MD, formerly its corporate Medical Director but
now retired and providing consulting services to the company. The
company was established in 1999 and has steadily grown since its
inception. Mr. Oliver is a healthcare executive with over 25 years of
experience in healthcare management of hospitals, long term care
facilities, physician practices and home health programs. Dr. Oliver,
though retired, continues to provide consultative services to the
company as an experienced medical director and neuro-psychiatrist,
particularly to those programs offering dementia care. Since early 2000,
Mature Options has brought together a group of healthcare managers, and
clinical, financial, and referral management professionals with greater
than 300 years of combined experience caring for seniors. With Dr.
Oliver’s transition to retirement, Nancy Oliver has joined the company
as an officer and currently Rea and Nancy Oliver are the principals of
all associated facilities and programs. Mrs. Oliver offers the company
12 years of experience working with seniors in a variety of healthcare
settings and significant expertise in the areas of billing and
professional practice management.
