Maplewood Land is a beautifully
decorated and maintained assisted living facility located in scenic
Helena only minutes from Shelby Baptist Medical Center, the Galleria,
and the communities of Pelham, Alabaster, and Hoover. The facility is
adjacent to a public park with a community lake, and across the street
from the Helena Public Library, emergency medical services, senior
citizens center and town hall.

Respite Care and Day Care
We recognize that
frequently elderly individuals need a few days, a few weeks, or even a
few months of assistance as they recuperate from illnesses or accidents,
to give their families a break from daily care if they are living with
their families, or simply to "try out" living in an assisted living
facility. This is why we offer short term residency options. Another
option we offer is geriatric daycare. This option allows an individual
to receive all of the daily care of our typical residents without
actually living in the facility. Fees for both of these options are
typically determined on a daily basis.
Outreach/Non-Medical Home
Care Services
Maplewood Lane has taken
its experience in caring for seniors in the assisted living environment
and developed an outreach program for those individuals who are not
ready for residential services, who wish to remain in their homes, or
who can no longer manage all of their daily activates within their
homes. The Maplewood Lane Outreach Program can best be defined as "home
assistance".
