"Southern Charm and professional care for Shelby County"

Maplewood Ridge exhibits the true meaning of "Southern Charm". As you tour the facility you see rocking chair porches, antique furnishings, and Victorian accents. Maplewood Ridge has two 16 unit cottages licensed by the state of Alabama and is located in Pelham on Old Montgomery Highway only minutes from Shelby Baptist Medical Center, the Galleria, Riverchase, and the communities of Hoover, Helena, and Alabaster. The facility is tucked away on a hillside affording privacy while the front porches server as gathering places for wonderful views of the hustle and bustle of Pelham and Hoover in the distance.

Maplewood Ridge combines a unique blend of old country charm and modern conveniences. All areas are on a single floor and there isn't an elevator in the place yet every room is Cable TV ready! While "home cooking" is the house specialty there is also expertise in meeting the needs of those resident with special dietary requirements such as restricted sodium or diabetic diets. There are quarterly resident, family and staff "get-togethers", a caring and experienced staff and access to registered nurse consultants, physical therapy professionals, and an excellent medication management and delivery program. In short, there is a blend of home-like surroundings and professional care that is appreciated by our residents and their families. Residents are encouraged to be active and socially involved yet they are also pampered by an experienced staff that truly enjoys caring for the elderly, and/or younger residents with special needs.

Maplewood Ridge offers several options for care including assisted living, daycare and respite care. With a brief evaluation we can assist families with choosing the option that best meets their unique needs.
