Summer Place Assisted Living
“The Seasons of
Talladega campus offers two levels of care. There is a licensed 16-unit
assisted living facility and a licensed 16-unit specialty care assisted
living facility for residents with Alzheimer’s and other memory
impairments. One unique service offered by these facilities is the
availability of an on-site physician medical director who visits weekly
and provides on-site medical direction and care for residents who choose
her as their primary physician.
Provides a living environment that is the
definition of “Southern Charm”. Our residents can sip tea on the
veranda, waken to a fresh cup of coffee and enjoy good southern cooking
while being assured that they will have just the right assistance with
their activities of daily living. We offer a comfortable, home-like
setting with nutritious meals and specially trained caregivers who truly
enjoy working with seniors. The facility is very non-institutional in
design with a huge veranda and is full of warmth, love, and patience.
Care Options include:
- Assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming and
other activities of daily living.
- (ADL’s) 24 hours per day, 365 days per year at
highly competitive rates.
- On-call Physician Advisor.
- Nurses who administer medications and provide
medical oversight of resident care.
- Active programs focusing on exercise, social
involvement and spiritual support.
- Resident and family get-togethers and periodic
resident outings.
- Three nutritious home cooked meals and snacks
daily.
- Special diets available

Autumn Trace Specialty Care
Autumn Trace provides a living environment that is
especially adapted for the safety and care of residents with cognitive
and behavioral problems, in addition to a need for assistance with
activities of daily living. We offer a comfortable, home-like setting
with nutritious meals and specially trained caregivers who truly enjoy
working with this special population. The facility is secured but is
very non-institutional in design with a huge veranda, and is full of
warmth, love, and patience.
Care Options include:
- Assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming and
other activities
of daily living.
- (ADL’s) 24 hours per day, 365 days per year
at highly competitive rates.
- On-call Physician Advisor with specialty training
in neuro-psychiatry and dementia.
- Nurses who administer medications and provide
medical oversight of resident care.
- Special activities and programs geared toward
residents with memory impairments.
- Staff who have training and intervention skills
for understanding and managing the elderly with memory impairments.
- Three nutritious home cooked meals and snacks
daily.
- Special diets available.
